Thriving in Stress

January 13, 2011

Can you have success without stress?

This interactive discussion defines stress and distress and the foundation for thriving in a stressful world. We will also examine our physical reactions to stress and the impact on health. There are four elements we need to function in a stressful situation:

  • autonomy
  • connectedness
  • perception
  • tone

Speaker will explain each one and the influence we have in each area. The objective in this discussion is to discover how to expand our comfort zone and go beyond just coping in stressful situations.

Participants will gain practical insights and learn to create strategies to apply in their daily lives.
